Elden Ring Nightreign PC Requirements - My Gaming Setup is Ready!
Discover the exciting system requirements and classes for Elden Ring Nightreign, a highly anticipated game with epic Viking-inspired gameplay and stunning visuals.
Just got my hands on the system requirements for Elden Ring Nightreign, and I'm literally bouncing in my gaming chair right now! As a die-hard FromSoftware fan who's put thousands of hours into their games, I've been counting down the days until May 30, 2025. The hype is REAL, folks! 🔥
System Requirements - Are You Ready?
FromSoftware just dropped the official PC specs on Twitter, and honestly? They're pretty reasonable! This is such a relief since my setup was getting a bit dusty in some corners. The game needs at least 30GB of storage and DirectX 12, which is pretty standard for 2025.

The Classes - Vikings and Mysteries!
Y'all, I cannot express how pumped I am about the Raider class! It's giving major Viking vibes, and the abilities are chef's kiss. The Retaliate ability lets you punch enemies so hard they stagger, regardless of size. And get this - you can't be knocked down while using it! Talk about a power trip! 💪
The Raider's ultimate ability, Totem Stela, summons this massive tombstone that not only boosts nearby allies but can be used as a platform. Imagine the tactical possibilities!
So far, we've got six confirmed classes, but rumor has it that two more might be coming: the Executor and Revenant. The Executor sounds like it'll let me channel my inner Sekiro with a holy energy sword and possibly a parry system similar to Shadows Die Twice. I'm already practicing my timing!
The Revenant, though? That's where things get weird and wonderful. Word on the street is that this class uses an instrument as a weapon! Like, what?! How does that even work? I'm imagining some kind of death metal bard situation and I am HERE for it. 🎸
Platform Availability and Testing Hiccups
While I'm going all-in on PC, Nightreign will also be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S when it drops on May 30.
There were some issues during the network test (ugh, those lag spikes had me throwing my controller), but I'm confident FromSoftware will iron out these problems before launch. They always do... eventually. Right? RIGHT?!
The Switch 2 Situation
Some folks are bummed that Nightreign won't be on Nintendo Switch 2 at launch. There's this theory floating around that Nintendo doesn't want it competing with their exclusive The Duskbloods, which isn't coming until 2026.
Since the original Elden Ring is heading to Switch 2, there's always hope that Nightreign might follow later. I mean, imagine playing this beast on the go! My productivity would absolutely tank, but it would be worth it.
My Setup and Preparations
My rig just barely hits the recommended specs (upgraded my GPU last month - my wallet is still giving me the silent treatment). I've already cleared 50GB of space even though it only needs 30GB because, let's be real, there's always day one patches.
I've also booked a week off work starting May 30th. My partner thinks I'm crazy, but they just don't understand the dedication required for a proper FromSoftware launch. Snacks are prepped, energy drinks are stocked, and my Discord server is buzzing with strategies.
Is anyone else planning their life around this release? Drop your class choice in the comments! I'm torn between the Raider's brute force approach and whatever mysterious musical mayhem the Revenant might offer.
Only a few more weeks until we're all dying repeatedly together! Cannot. Wait. 😍
